DE comparison (pros and cons)

GNOME:

• pros:
• easy to use (both for normal users and developers)
  
• not modded might save eyes ;)
• macOs similar look (dock + statusbar menus)
• installed by default on most distros
  
• cons:
• almost not themable

KDE:

• pros:
• windows similar look (bottom bar)
• very customizable (theme store + ability to make diy themes in files)
• synchronization with phone (requires app)
• cons: 
• too much features
• eats battery
• requires many memory
  

 CINNAMON:

• pros:
• very customizable
• light 
• windows-similar look (bottom bar)
• cons:
• a little outdated 

 XFCE:

• pros:
• very customizable
• light
• cons: 
• doesnt look good by default :/
  

 PANTHEON:

• pros: 
• macOs similar look (dock + statusbar)
• cons: 
• not fully themable (not able to create themes BUT there are a few preinstalled)

 MATE:

• pros: 
• light
• 2 sidebars
• themable
  
• cons: 
• doesnt look like new one by default...
